The feature:
The shunter shuffles the means of transport on the Willems Logistics site in Waalwijk on a daily basis according to the shunting list. You mostly communicate via walkie-talkie with the shippers who indicate when a combination can be docked or removed from the dock.
In short:
- You dock to;
- You put loaded combinations away in the parking lot;
- You hitch trailers;
- You will be responsible for putting the cars away correctly including closing them;
- In case of driving license CE, you may be coupling trailers at local customers;
- At quiet times, you will help load and unload in the warehouse.
We will start with a temporary contract, but we will take this job together for the longer term. There is therefore the prospect of a permanent contract. Skills Needed
You have extensive experience in shunting and loading/unloading goods. You have a hands-on mentality and are obviously a fine colleague. You are able to maintain short lines of communication with mechanics and warehouse colleagues.
